1. Open up 2 or even more photographs that you wish to use in a slideshow using Adobe Image Prepared, which comes with Photoshop. They have to be in a .gif format for them to be animated in the slideshow.
2. Drag one of the pictures onto the other so they are both in the same image on different layers (you are going to need to re-position the image after you drag it). Now first disable both image layers by clicking the eye second to the layer.
3. Next click the first slide in the animation window then turn on the layer of the image you want to place first in the slideshow. The image should then appear in the time line in the animation window.
4. To add the following image to the timeline, make a new slide and disable the layer of the image you enabled in step 3, then enable the layer with the image that you wish to use as the second image. If you've more than 2 pictures, repeat this step for each.
5. In slide 1, in the animation window, you must see a time below it. For the future transition between the pictures to be smooth, click the delay time (it should say 0 sec by default) and change it to 0.2 seconds. Repeat this step for each slide.
6. Select the slide once again and click the tween button (it's next to the new layer button in the animation window). Use all the settings in the image below, however you'll increase the number of frames to contribute to make the transition smoother. Take into account that the more frames there are, the bigger the file size will be. Now return to slide 1 and change the setback time to 2 sec, so that you can get an opportunity to glance at the image before the following one comes up. If you've more than two pictures, repeat this step for each image, except the last image or slide.
7. Now so as to make the slideshow revolve continuously, add another tween. Add the same number of frames as you probably did in step 6, however this time; change the "Tween with" to first frame. Decide on the fifth slide and change the setback time to two seconds. For the animation to copy, change ‘once’ to ‘for ever’. Next to the rewind button below the timeline in the slideshow animation window, you must see the word "once". Click it and select "forever".
8. To preview the slideshow animation, click on the Internet Explorer button in the toolbar. When you preview it and are satisfied with it, save it properly and you have an attractive slideshow ready. |
